Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

My taste in music is all over the place! Recently I discovered the guitarist and vocalist Eva Cassidy. I believe she is one of the most profoundly gifted musicians of our time.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

I have a passion for books -- over a 1, 000 books in my home alone and I'm not going to confess how much I've paid in library fines over the years . I love fiction and non-fiction. I usually read several books at one time. I find I make some interesting connections that way. I can't possibly narrow down a favorite; there are too many to list.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Out of Africa, The English Patient, To Kill a Mockingbird, Gone With the Wind, The Big Chill, Klute, Cesar et Rosalie, Tootsie, Kramer vs. Kramer, Jagged Edge.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

I grew up without a TV and became an avid reader instead. Have appreciated watching such things as Masterpiece Theatre, Animal Planet, West Wing, Frasier and Charlie Rose.
Interests and Activities:

Child development, art, music, photography, tennis, swimming, animals, horseback riding, natural horsemanship, learning, walking on the beach, communing with nature, camping, being in or near the water., Drawing, painting, calligraphy, piano, being with the children in my family, raising baby horses.

Thanks so much for all your great comments about Cinderella, Linda! I am soooooo relieved that it is over, still very busy but the pressure is off. Now all thousand pieces of clothing including gowns have to be cycled through the washing machine, but that's another story...
Our drama club is self-supporting so the sound system was bought with previous years' proceeds although we do still have to rent lights. The sets are 4 giant panels on wheels so the stage crew does have some maneuvering to do for each scene change. and lastly, all those kids were smiling at one time because a practical joker named Anthony was behind me giving me bunny ears :-)

I've known Michelle Morrissey since she was a teenager and my daughter's Best Friend.

She and my daughter are still best friends and Michelle just joined Gather.

She is a talented artist and educator, a wonderful photographer and so creative she's an inspiration.

Hi Linda! I just wanted to thank you for asking about me, it makes me feel good to think that there's people out there thinking about me now and again! :-) Not quite so lonesome since I'm spending so much time in bed these days, you know what I mean? I'm doing a lot better now that I am HOME sweet home. I can come online for a little while at a time though its a bit painful so I haven't been spending much time here, well not as much as I would like anyway. And I am definitely having to re-learn the gather way cuz its a whole lot different now! I hope that life is treating you well!
